Insurance and Referrals

To ensure a smooth first visit and timely care, we recommend patients review the following information in advance.

Referrals

  • A referral letter may be required for patients using insurance plans, corporate panels, or government subsidy schemes.
  • Please bring any existing referral letters from your primary care physician or referring specialist.
  • If you are unsure whether a referral is required, our clinic team will be happy to advise prior to your appointment.

Insurance Coverage

  • Coverage for consultations, investigations, and treatments varies by insurer and plan.
  • Some advanced investigations or therapies may require prior authorisation from insurers.
  • Our team can assist with the necessary documentation, including medical reports or treatment justifications, where required.

Medical Reports and Documentation

  • Medical reports for insurance claims, employers, or other healthcare providers can be arranged upon request.
  • Please allow sufficient time for preparation, especially for comprehensive or specialist reports.

Continuity and Shared Care

  • For referred patients, we prioritise clear communication with referring doctors to ensure continuity of care.
  • Where appropriate, shared-care arrangements with primary care or other specialists are supported.

At Aaria Rheumatology, clinical decisions are guided first by medical need and patient safety. Administrative or insurance considerations are addressed transparently, without compromising care quality or clinical integrity.
