Dr. Anindita Santosa

Dr Anindita Santosa is the Founding Medical Director of Aaria Rheumatology and a Consultant Rheumatologist, Clinical Immunologist and Allergist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex autoimmune, inflammatory, and immune-mediated diseases. She is recognised for her measured, analytical approach to clinical care, combining diagnostic precision with deep attention to patient experience and long-term outcomes.

She has been a Rheumatologist since 2017 and completed formal subspecialty training in Clinical Immunology and Allergy in 2023. Dr Santosa holds an MSc in Allergy from Imperial College London and is currently pursuing a part-time MSc in Integrated Immunology at the University of Oxford, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving field.

Dr Santosa’s clinical interests span systemic autoimmune connective tissue diseases, inflammatory arthritis, complex allergy disorders, immune dysregulation, and adult immunodeficiency. She has an interest in women’s health, recognising how autoimmune and immunological conditions uniquely affect women across different life stages.

She is actively involved in clinical education, academic writing, and professional development, with contributions spanning peer-reviewed publications, guideline-informed educational materials, and invited lectures. Her academic interests lie in immune dysregulation, systemic autoimmune diseases, and the evolving role of targeted and precision therapies in immune-mediated inflammatory conditions. She has played a key role in specialist training and continuing medical education, and remains deeply engaged in translating emerging immunology science into practical, clinically meaningful care.

In addition to her clinical and academic work, Dr Santosa is actively involved in professional and patient organisations. She is a long-standing member of the Singapore Society of Rheumatology (SSR) and the Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR), contributing to regional education and collaboration. She is also closely involved with the Lupus Association Singapore, supporting patient advocacy, education, and efforts to improve awareness and care for individuals living with systemic autoimmune diseases.

Dr Santosa has a strong commitment to global health and health equity, particularly in rheumatology and clinical immunology. She is actively involved with Indonesia.MD and collaborates with like-minded clinicians, educators, and innovators to address disparities in access to specialist care, delayed diagnosis, and fragmented healthcare delivery. Her work focuses on sustainable models of care, clinician empowerment, and context-appropriate solutions to improve outcomes for patients in resource-variable settings across the region and beyond.

She is also a health-tech entrepreneur and co-founder of AIGP Health and Clinversa, where she works at the intersection of medicine, technology, and system design. Her focus is on developing clinician-led, ethically grounded digital and AI-enabled tools that augment clinical decision-making, improve workflow efficiency, and expand access to specialist-informed care—without compromising safety, equity, or professional integrity.
